How We Work
Members form Roundtables around causes they care about — Health, Poverty, Education, the Arts, the Environment, and more. Within each Roundtable, members form Initiatives — focused groups that source, evaluate, and vet specific investment opportunities within that cause.
Roundtables don’t work in isolation. Initiatives often bring Roundtables together — for example, a Health Roundtable and an Education Roundtable forming a joint Health Education Initiative. A cross-Roundtable Initiative like this helped launch a private medical university.

PIN’s model isn’t theoretical — it’s already worked. Roundtables and Initiatives within our network have helped launch ventures including a private medical university, created through a cross-Roundtable collaboration between our Health and Education members.
How We Do It
Impact Investing is being called the New Philanthropy, the New Investing, the New Corporate HR, and the New Family Legacy Planning.
Rather than giving away capital that depletes over time, or investing purely for financial return, Impact Investors put their money to work advancing social and financial goals together — alongside their personal, corporate, or family legacy goals.
Impact Investors lend to nonprofits and for-profits whose products advance a cause, take equity in mission-driven companies, and share in the revenue of profitable social ventures.
